Here at the Northwest Ohio Chapter of CISV, we take care of our environment! Periodically we send in old inkjet and laser printer cartridges to obtain money. The cartridges are to be in non-refurbished condition and with little or no wear and tear. Also, we submit cell phones for a fundraiser. Cell phones accepted must be able to power cycle (turn on and off), make a test call, LCD screen must have no damage and phone should have no more than general wear and tear. Lastly we collect aluminum cans and take them to a local recycler in Findlay, Ohio. In the future we will look forward to collecting glass for a fundraiser.
On the first Monday of every month, CISV is invited to dine at Stevie B's and will be given 50 cents for every person that mentions they are there with CISV. It is a good time to socialize with other CISV families and friends.
Quarterly CISV Middle School Dances which are to be held in rotation at local Middle Schools, information to be announced on WKXA 100.5FM, school announcements, and school flyers.
